On the 4th of December 2003 I collapsed at church and woke up in hospital 20 minutes later. Had cat scan, Eeg’s, ultra sounds, blood tests etc. and was diagnosed by the neurologist with Epilepsy. I was put onto Tegretol (high doses). The attacks seemed to get worse with me.
Sometimes I was having up to 10 attacks a day. Some days I never even managed to get to school, other days my mother would be phoned to fetch me from school as I had had three attacks already.
After three more hospital visits, doctor’s appointments etc I was suddenly told that I did not have Epilepsy, that it was psychological and my parents were just to ignore me when I had an attack. They recommended that I see a psychologist as I was putting the whole lot on.
That was enough for my parents to make a change of plan. A friend had phoned us a few days before to recommend we go to Sevenpointfive. She had friends that had been helped so unbelievably. WOW!!! How our lives have changed. The best thing that could have happened to us. If we hadn’t had to go this long way round we would never have got to where we were today.
Sevenpointfive found that I had a huge problem with my blood – very little oxygen- and gave me a huge detox. WOW!!! The difference in me was almost immediate, the attacks all but disappeared. In three weeks I’m a new person, back at school doing all the things I used to do before. I have all the energy in the world and am truly feeling like a new person.
